This Moodle site is maintained voluntarily by Musashi University faculty. Data is retained in the site for the purpose of providing teachers and students with useful pedagogical information. All users retain the right to have all data associated with their account deleted upon request.

This Moodle instance is maintained and managed by Jason Hollowell and other faculty at Musashi University. It is housed on a private server that maintains connections with other systems solely for the purpose of providing educational tools and services. User's personal information is never sold, served, or provided to external entities for commercial purposes. Additionally, all communication between this server and connecting clients is encrypted via regularly rotated SSL certificates provided by LetsEncrypt.
Personal data retained on the site:
As part of its operation, Moodle logs user activity. The following data is stored in system logs:
User ID
Moodle Course ID
Activity timestamps
Action type (post, view, login, etc)
Moodle object the action was on e.g. Quiz
From the system logs, Moodle generates a number of reports that are accessible to administrators and teachers of each Moodle course. Moodle reports enable course teachers to monitor activity in their courses and to view what resources in each course are or are not being accessed. These may be used to support your teaching and learning.
By accepting this policy you are acknowledging the use of your system access data solely for educational purposes by your teachers and program administrators.
